LOCATION: East River Park, at 6th Street, north of Williamsburg Bridge.
As Nature breathes, the circle of life goes round and round. This is a plot of land in the East River Park that piles up mounts and mounts of tree debris. This is an installation which the viewer are able to walk through a man made “paradise” that is created with all the twigs, branches, trunks, furniture and homes that Sandy took down with her. As nature and human civilization intertwine and disintegrate together, this becomes a place for meditation and appreciation; as a reminder for our humility towards nature.
